A room is available for rent in a shared apartment with the owner and three friendly dogs here on Tablas Island, which belongs to the Romblon region. The island is located fairly centrally in the Philippines and is easily accessible by ferry from Batangas, Lucena, Caticlan, or Roxas. The apartment is just 100 meters from a stunning sandy beach in a protected bay. If you love peace and quiet, beach walks, swimming, and snorkeling, this is the perfect place for you. Here you'll find magnificent coral reefs and a colorful, breathtaking underwater world that is second to none. The apartment is located in a small German-speaking community where many friendly people live, and you'll quickly feel at home. English is also spoken here. You are welcome to join our activities if you wish. We all help each other out to make life as pleasant as possible. If you don't feel like preparing your own food, you'll find several quaint restaurants and pubs along the beach where you can eat well and affordably. These are just a short walk away. A lunch with a drink will cost you around 250 to 300 pesos, which is about 4 to 5 euros. In the capital, Odiongan, about 14 kilometers away, you'll find everything you need for daily life. You can even get many things in Ferrol, which is only 5 kilometers away. There are also several small grocery stores nearby where you can quickly pick up essentials on foot.

To the room
It's approximately 9 square meters and nicely furnished. It includes a double bed, bedside tables, and a chest of drawers. To keep the room cool, there's an air conditioner that runs very quietly and is very energy efficient. There's also a ceiling fan and a wall fan. The apartment has a kitchen and a shared bathroom with a shower, instantaneous water heater, toilet, bidet, and sink. The monthly rent is €150 or 9900 pesos. Water, electricity, and internet access are included in the rent.
Regarding transportation: You can rent a scooter for a few pesos per day. The daily rental fee is 350 pesos, approximately €5.50. A tricycle service or a shuttle service by car is also available. Furthermore, for a small fee, you can use a room cleaning service (350 pesos), a laundry service (350 pesos), a shopping and errand service, and a personal care service.
